Hour-by-hour plans for four of our most requested day charters. Every detail is flexible — routes below are a starting point, not a schedule.
09:00 – 15:00
Jolly Harbour → Pigeon Beach → Antigua South
Boarding at Jolly Harbour
Welcome aboard in Antigua's main charter marina. Coffee, fresh juices, and a brief with the captain on the day's wind and tide.
Leeward sail down the coast
Hoist sails and head south under the easterly trades — classic mono-hull reaching with views of Antigua's hills.
Anchor at Pigeon Beach
Swim from the boat, paddleboard ashore to the white-sand beach, and snorkel the reef along Falmouth's western point.
Lunch on board
Fresh Caribbean plate — grilled catch of the day, local greens, rum punch or iced sorrel.
Downwind return
Ease back under sail, with time to swim off the stern if the weather allows.
Step ashore at Jolly Harbour
Disembark with cold towels and, if you wish, a sundowner at the marina bar.
08:30 – 17:30
Antigua → Pink Sand Beach → Coco Point
Early departure from Jolly Harbour
The 30-mile passage to Barbuda is smoothest before the trades build — coffee and breakfast at sea.
Arrival Pink Sand Beach
Anchor off Barbuda's celebrated pink-sand beach on the leeward shore, one of the longest uninterrupted beaches in the Caribbean.
Ashore on Barbuda
Tender in to explore. Walk the pink-sand stretch, visit the Frigate Bird Sanctuary by skiff if time allows, or simply wander.
Beach lunch
A long lunch served on the sand or aboard — fresh lobster, local greens, chilled rosé in the Barbuda style.
Return passage
Downwind sail back to Antigua, usually a faster run with the afternoon breeze behind.
Jolly Harbour return
Moor up in time for a shoreside sundowner.
08:00 – 18:00
Antigua → Cades Reef → Five Islands
Depart Antigua
Early start for the short reach south to Cades Reef, the protected reef along Antigua's southwestern coast.
Enter the Marine Park
Pick up a mooring inside the reef line — calm water, white sand, and protected coral gardens.
Reef snorkel
Snorkel in the protected reef where parrotfish, tangs, and the occasional turtle drift past. Life jackets and snorkel kit provided.
Outer reef drift
Short tender to the outer edge for deeper coral and the best fish density on Antigua's coast.
Beach barbecue ashore
Crew ashore with grill and hamper at a quiet leeward cove — lobster, coconut rice, fresh fruit, cold drinks.
Second swim / paddleboard
Siesta on the beach, paddle the shallow flats along the western shore.
Sail home
Broad reach back to Jolly Harbour with the trades — classic fast sailing.
Jolly Harbour return
Arrive in time for sunset over the Antigua hills.
07:30 – 17:30
Antigua, Barbuda, and back in a day
Early departure Antigua
Pre-dawn coffee, breakfast at sea as the trades settle.
Barbuda — Pink Sand Beach
Swim stop on the famous pink-sand stretch, the longest deserted beach in the Leewards.
Coco Point reef
Snorkel off Barbuda's southern reef line — quiet, shallow, and rich in life.
Lunch ashore on Barbuda
A long lunch served at a deserted cove — fresh lobster and chilled rosé.
Lunch underway / second swim
Fresh plate on board as the yacht points south for the return.
Antigua north coast pass
Slow sail past Long Island and Hodges Bay — photo stop if the light is right.
Jolly Harbour return
Back at Jolly Harbour in time for sunset.
Beyond these four, we arrange Falmouth & English Harbour days, Nevis / St. Kitts combinations, St. Barts dashes, and fully bespoke routes. Every itinerary is confirmed with you the week before the charter, with real-time weather and your party's pace in mind.
Before You Depart
Charters are arranged with the same priorities throughout: easy hospitality, a flexible route, and enough room in the day to enjoy the sea rather than rush through it.
Your day is arranged to feel warm, calm, and looked after from departure to return.
Swim stops, coastline views, lunch timing, and sunset pacing can be shaped around your group.
These charters are designed for guests who want a more personal day on the water, not a crowded group trip.
